Veterinarian Observations


10/20/00 Lipoma Surgery - rump - tail head 10/10/00. Drainage over top of tail caused cellulitis and dehiscence 10/15/00.

On 10/24/00 wound debrided and hydrotherapy (luke to warm water rinse) on area am-pm plus Derma Gel was initiated. No other topical meds or ointments, clavamox oral antibiotic.

10/27/00- Throughout the whole time frame Buddy was cleaned with hydrotherapy

11/14/00 2-3 times per day and dryed. Final prescription of Derma Gel was 3 x a day. Now after 8 weeks completely healed and thin scar, hair growing back. Everyone is very happy.

12/8/00 I included 2 photos of December 8, 2000. The tail on Buddy is completely healed with just a thin center scar line. Looks Great, We are all Happy!!
