Because Derma GeL® maintains cell viability to the very high rate of 97% 19, it enables suturing beyond the time limit of the « Golden Period » (which ranges from 6 – 8 hours after skin is damaged) as long as Derma GeL® is applied immediately on the wound.

This will allow cell viability to remain high enough in order to enable a “late” and successful suturing.
